BODYMAX (“we”) is an on-device iPhone app that scores physique lines from Apple’s body-pose camera APIs. This policy describes what stays on your iPhone and what never leaves it.
BODYMAX does not create an account, does not run a cloud backend for scans, and does not upload camera frames, still photos, pose points, or scores to our servers. Analysis runs on the device using Apple frameworks (AVFoundation, Vision, SwiftData, StoreKit).
You can delete every scan from Profile → Delete all history. Uninstalling the app removes local data.
The camera is used only while a scan is running. A still is captured locally so the share card can show you. Nothing is uploaded unless you share the card yourself (for example to Instagram or Photos) through the iOS share sheet. That destination then has its own policy.
If you enable the evening reminder, BODYMAX schedules a local notification on this iPhone. We do not send push notifications from a server.
BODYMAX is not a medical device. It does not estimate body fat, weight, or muscle mass. Scores are 2D pose geometry (taper, symmetry, posture, presence). They are not a diagnosis and not a ranking against other people.
BODYMAX is not directed at children under 17. Do not use it to scan anyone who cannot consent.
